Any job is not easy. Each and every single job has its own privileges and disadvantages. For instance, when IT Executives are good with computer skills and website developments, but their interpersonal communication skills are very bad compared to the salespeople because they hardly required to communicate with clients. Another example is the stewardesses, they got to look all pretty and go traveling, and be on the plane all the time, but they would have to walk on the airplane and serve the customers, especially during this pandemic where all borders of every country are closed and traveling is forbidden, many stewardesses have lost their jobs. The same goes for the nurses. Nurses are the helpers that normally assist the doctors in taking care of the patients, checking temperatures, giving out suitable medicines for patients at the dispensary counter, and etc. Nurses know no genders, although it sounds very feminine. But I have seen men working as nurses as well. Thus, I do not think that only women can work as nurses. The reason why back in the days, nurses are all women because men are required to join militaries and wars, or jobs that require strength that only men can provide because if not they do not consider as manly. Even so, nurses go through a lot as well, the same as other jobs.

One of the problems that nurses go through is they are underpaid. Growing up, we are taught to dream big and have big ambitions because a good job gives you more money, and when you have money, it is easier for you to be rich. Hence, equals having a good life. But nurses are all underpaid until now. If we go to the clinic, especially the hospital, nurses had to walk around checking patients, taking care of the patients, making sure the patients are okay and if there are any problems with the patients, the nurse that was assigned on duty that time would have to take the blame. I feel like they are doing their best in giving us the best hospitality, yet they are still underpaid and not appreciated. Especially during this pandemic, where the government needs every doctor and nurse to be available because our country is shorthanded in fighting this pandemic, apart from the economic crisis.

Other than that, nurses also have their own personal problems at home. Nurses are human beings as well, they have their families as well including husbands and children at home. Just imagine the stresses and tiredness they have to go through and going back home to their families, and going through the same thing at home. This does not include the underpaid problem yet. What if some of them are single mothers? They would have to support themselves and their children without getting financial support from other people. That is unimaginably tough honestly. I cannot comprehend the struggles they are willing to go through as nurses. I think nurses should consider having side income in order to support their lives, such as joining the broker Malaysia and have to do the online share trading Malaysia and online stock trading Malaysia, atleast they would have extra money and would not have to worry about insufficient funds.

Last but as important is the risk of contagious disease. Nurses are considered as the frontline aside from doctors and policemen. Especially during this lockdown, they are all required to be working in the hospital taking care of the patients. Hence, they are the closest to contagious diseases, such as Coronavirus. That is why sometimes they are scared to go home to their families not knowing what they bring with them home.

It is very sad to see how they have to go through all the time, not being able to get what they deserve. The government cannot simply give them other privileges because currently, our government is struggling as well. Nevertheless, I do not think that nurses should not be appreciated and they should have been given more rest as well. At least, mentally they need someone there for them as well. That is why it is very crucial for them to take care of themselves in order to take care of others. If not, they will easily get sick, their body would be weak and be a good host for any contagious virus and they could not be able to perform well in their work.
